Hemimorphite is a rare form of zinc silicate. It is often confused with Smithstone as they appear very similar and were both ground down as used as calamine lotion. It is thought to be the stone of empathy and compassion. It is excellent for PMS symptoms and hormonal headaches and reduces physical pain and lung health. It also opens up the throat chakra and therefore helps you to communicate your truth, especially in dysfunctional or emotional relationships.
